On two channel flavor anisotropic Kondo model

Using Abelian Bosonization and Conformal Field Theory, we reinvestigate the two channel flavor anisotropic Kondo model where the two conduction electron channels couple to the impurity spin with different strength. All the possible fixed points of this model have been identified. It is shown that there is only one non-fermi liquid fixed point which is the two channel Kondo fixed point. The system is shown to flow to a fermi-liquid fixed point with fermi-liquid boundary operators. The recent claims on the non-fermi liquid behaviors in this model are commented. Some fixed points corresponding to 4 pieces of bulk fermions coupled to s = 1/2 impurity are summarized. Typeset using REVTEX
